It's not a lock, it's a button. The key has a protrusion so that when it's turned it holds the button in.

Yep. And decoding them is an absolute PITA... ken peterson did a video explaining the process but it's not easy to do and results aren't guaranteed either. Master did a good job making a lock which is hard to decode, pity they could never fix the bypass.
