Abus - China---- Abloy - ?

I have learned that Abus (83/55) are made in China. Are Alboy locks (bodies) made in Finland or China as well?

Abloy is 100% Finland.

Some Abus is made in Germany but their ordinary locks are made in China, but in a factory using German machinery for the most part from what I was told at a lock show. Don't confuse it with Chinese homegrown products which are often not very well made..

Good point cledry, my $500 dollar iphone was made in China too but it's certainly
not a piece of sh*t made of cast zinc.

Bummer about Abus. One thing I love about Euro products is many of their high end products are still made there. Here, in the USA much of our high end stuff is made overseas. European companies seem to have a bit more pride overall in that regard.
