The Master Lock No. 570 in my opinion is a beautiful lock. The milled aluminum body has a comforting feel to me. It's warmer and softer compared to your typical Master lock. The only springs are in the pins. This means that there are no springs in the shackle and plug. This lock is simplistic in its design. There are two ball bearings, a machined brass lock cam, and the core. Not much to it. There is a retaining pin in the side that is easily drilled out. Once the core is removed another retaining pin keeps the plug in the core. After removing that retaining pin use a 3/8 plug follower to extract the plug. The first pin was a standard pin. Pins 2-5 were all spool pins. This surprised me because my first time picking it I thought that only the 4th and 5th pins were spool pins. I wanted to wright this because I didn't find to much information on this lock when I started.
