I've had a look around and I can't seem to find the answer. I have a Master lock 930 that I'm going to modify a bit to make it a little less of a... ya, one of those. Anyway, I can't seem to find an answer to what internal parts aside from the core are compatible with the 930 lock. I know it's a knock off or clone of the American lock 700 and it use to be called the 930/6230 but I can't seem to find out if the internals are also the same. I'm guessing so because Master lock bought American lock.
What I'm trying to do is swap out the stock actuator for a key retaining one. I could just pop in some anti-bypass wafers to get that sorted but figured if I have to ship something in then why not go the extra step and make it key retaining instead. Problem being I cannot find the 6230 actuator part 6121-0426 anywhere but I did find the 700 actuator part APKG2084090 that is key retaining... even if shipping is stupid crazy. Before I spend the cash I'd like to be sure so I don't waste it (I know, I'm spending more than the lock is worth already but it's a project).
Just in case anyone is wondering, I've already replaced the core with a 410 KD LOTO core and have a set of American pins on the way (might turn one pin into a T pin). I may counter mill a chamber or two, or all six, just for fun. I did notice that the old 930 core (march/17) isn't all brass like I see in videos or like the 410 one. Odd.
If anyone has some insight into the actuator I'd be very appreciative for the assistance.
Thanks!
