Love to learn, love to teach. Can't wait to get a lever mortice lock, think I will try pressing directly on bolt, then only have to have pick in lock, once I get that, add the tension wrench, still have to make some tension wrenches. I made a Tubular lock pick yesterday from 2 pieces of Brake line, 2 different sizes, idea came to me a couple months ago. Couldn't find right diameter tubing. Basically a tube within a tube. Center tube is tension with square notch in the end to fit center post, the outer tube is shorter and has a diamond(actually a triangle) protruding at one spot. To use, apply tension with center tube, then rotate pick to each position pushing each pin to shear line. Want to add 8 marks so I can see pick is on pin, still working on handles. Squelchtone has info on inserting pictures, will try to post photo by tomorrow. Thanks Oh yeah, small tube would not fit at first, put in screw gun, wrapped sandpaper around and slowly reduced size, large tube had a tight spot where flare was. Screw gun and file, then sandpaper around the unused third smallest size inside the large and now work smoothly together. I need to test later.

https://imgur.com/a/m2ZdmfWI put in own thread. Think its called, "Building a better Mousetrap" Really not better, cheaper and different? Only had a moment to test, Going to file hump down on pick a little, just long enough to press pin flush, with it being too long, when pick is out of hole, tension won't stay over center post. will update.
