Been working in an area locked with a Master padlock, rather then bother Employee for key when I need, they don't mind me picking the lock, one day I asked to look at the key, I saw a deep cut prior to the shallow cut at the tip, which made a little tougher. Look through my keys to see if I could find a match in my 400 Masters. Found one that was close, stuck in my pocket to try next visit. Then Sunday had to work at a Condo, and Person had a new Master padlock with the key sitting there, I asked customer to let me try key I have as it looked the same, put in lock, it opened up. Compared to his key, was Identical. Then was figuring odds of that and if understand correctly, would be 8X8X8X8=4096.
So odds would be 4096 to 1. But since their is Maximum Adjacent Cuts, what is the Real odds, or number of keys? Thanks
