Glad to see you back. Awesome cutaway, as usual.

I wonder if the disks in this picture are all the same. They look the same to me. And then I see one with a false gate inside the assembled lock. An I missing something?

These are actually the spacer discs used between the code discs.... I cut them so you can see how the key cuts interact with the code discs and move them a different points in the key rotation.
Have a look at some of the closeups of the core and you will see these small "U" shaped pieces of brass... thats the cross section of these triangular spacer discs... hope that makes sense.
