Kiwkset Titan--anything different?

Postby Peter Martin » 24 Jun 2020 22:59

I received this Titan in my bucket-o-locks from a handyman.
Lockwiki indicates this is a 6-pin cylinder, otherwise no security pins.
It does seem to make a lot more metal shrouding behind the face and seems more heavily protected than a standard KW deadbolt.
Anything otherwise peculiar about picking these--before I mount it up and start stabbing away?

Not that I recall.

Titan has a spring-loaded retainer between the #2 & #3 pins. If you pick open &turn to about 7 o'clock the cylinder should pull out from the housing
