Hi. I recently got a 2nd hand Squire 660 4 lever padlock and have been happy picking it. I have been able to get it open 8 times out of 10. Whilst picking it, it sounded and felt abit "scratchy" so I thought lube it up to get it working like new. I put some "3-in-on Silicone Lubricant" spray in it and the locks is now smooth when using the key but I have a problem, I now cannot get a single lever to bind when picking it!
Does lubing the locks make them more secure from picking (which would be a good security tip if so) but for me, crucially, is there a way to undo this lube I put in and get it pickable again?
