I'm not sure of my measurements with this cheap caliper but my brain tells me in order to find the cut depth for each pin I must sacrifice the cam body. I used my Dremel and cut the housing in two. The piece with the sidebar is what I need to learn the cut depths for each pin. Starting with pin 1 I place the pin so that when I press the sidebar in, the pin receives the sidebar into the hole on its side. Now when I split the lock in two I was able to see that the top of the keyway is where the sidebar hole begins. Now, when I have the pin in place , sidebar engaged , I believe the bottom portion of the pin that is into the keyway is what I measured to learn the depth into the key for that pin.
I am going to post pictures to help you visualize what I did. Now I am going to get those pictures ready and posted before I ask my question
