The Key Maker?
Well for your information my handle is chubby not because I'm fat, it's because I am very coversant with Chubb locks, if you look at my above post you will see that I am in a vain attempt of light hearted pleasantry trying to point out that the link for the out of focus pictures of the ***** **** wasn't working, this is not the first time that you have replied in such a 'enfant terrible' manner. I don't think you need a lock specialist to help you out here.
Try adding simple courtesies in your posts in the future like please/thankyou/I beg your pardon...it does'nt cost you anything, and it goes a long way my friend... :?
And before you ask, yes I do know what type of lock it is...

Please avoid personal attacks !!!! yet the post is left on!!!!

Chubby i find your post immature and you dont add "a vain attempt of light hearted pleasantry" but you add an insulting nature to some of your posts which i have been on the end of on more than one occasion. Now i aint arguin` and i know that you add a hell of a lot to this forum and since starting up on here i have learnt a vast amount of knowledge from some of your topics and replies!

I am dissapointed, you are the first person from the lockpicking society which has given me any trouble !!!

Apology accepted...it's a top of the range 1980 Chubb cylinder rim lock BS3621 automatic deadlocking internally lockable with an anti-twist cylinder, it is also regarded as being hacksaw & pick resistant ...

Hi,

The locking mechanism uses the Chubb AVA Wafer cylinder which has similarities with abloy locks. You can read about them at http://www.security.org/ , and then click on Locks, safes, and then index and put in AVA.

I would not know where to start in picking this lock although you can get a decoder from Falle.

Its a very secure lock!

Kind Regards

Jlo
