theres a new lock on the tools shed at my school. i saw it when i was helping a teacher move a new bandsaw into our woodwork class. i think it may be custom made by a metalwork teacher, but im not sure. our tool shed was broken into a few weeks ago and now we have a massive lock, its dimensions are literally 23cm by 10cm by 4cm. it requires two keys to open, each quite long and looks as if it operates 7 pins. the locking arm piece is about 15mm thick, 50% chromium according to the teacher (chromium being the strongest metal, but very heavy). the teacher says that it has mushroom pins and that the shed itself was made stronger just to tighten security. the lock looks kinda like this:

|-----|___________________________|------|
|.......|......................................................|.......|
|.......|___________________________|.......|
|.......|......................................................|.......|
|.......---------------------------------------------.......|
|......................................................................|
|...()...........................................................()...|
|___________________________________|

please excuse the ... as the site deletes excess spaces.

the lock has no markings of any kind, however it is buffed up and looks quite professional. the teachers could have made it but it looks a bit too precise

It's very pickable, if there are no markings or brand name on the padlock you can almost bet that it's been made in east asia, I've got two scary looking chinese padlocks, big heavy block padlocks, well made but a five year old could pick them, they are crap...nothing but looks, all fart no shit!

your picture looks similar to a block padlock...

OK, i was bored last night and now i have a few more details. it has 7 pins, they are mushroom pins and are very hard to pick. the lock has no markings but the two cores look different. one is slighly taller and the other is slightly wider, the shape of the keys must also be different to fit. the wo keys must be turned simultaneously to open it, and its hard to keep pressure on one while picking the other. i tried for 25 minutes before giving up.
