how to get around thing sticking out from side of lock

thanks! its good to see some people think i actually know something! :D im still a noob too after all really!

daedalus is right as far as i know, sounds like perfect advice for you, theres only one addition i can make to what he said and that is to take a pick like a hook preferably and with no tension wrench just press down on the front most-pin so that you can see it moving and see how much pressure it takes to move it, you could also try putting the key in and seeing it if becomes hard at a certain pin, it may be that your lock is worn or clogged with dirt, or it could have a distorted pin inside making it hard to press down. all these things are possibilites!

thx all i just made 2 new picks to try and pick this lock i made a deep hook and a small diamond!
