only today walking down the street i saw a car with the side window smashed, the radio stolen and someone had tried to hotwire it, as well as the back window smashed for apparently no reason at all. this is the second car like this in the same street in just over a week.

crime is getting terrible these days. if i catch someone breaking into my car "they ran at me like a mad man, the baseball bat was for my protection"

"Your honor, I would like to submit into the record this transcript from a website entitled lockpicking101.com where the defendant has been seen to brag about his intentions to do bodily harm to an individual found attempting to burglarize his vehicle. Please note your honor that the defendant has made it very clear also that his intention would be to lie about it. "

Darn interenet records! ;)

lol, very true db, but i know the police phone number well anyway
its the first thing i'd be calling before getting some lovely photographs and videos of the people with some nice close up face shots :D

you cant deny photos in court!

in this area, you probably would need some protection to go walking around on your own late at night, especially if you're confronting car theives, you will probably end up getting stabbed or something before you know whats happened.

Im more of the school that if you hit them hard enough the first time they dont come back a second time and dont say who did it either.

Perhaps its just me that doesnt care for the rights of criminals and quite happily beats the s*** out of them.

Even if its just yob's knocking on the door and running away they all get the same treatment,

Its a great sound when you hear a big group of hooded youths with sticks, eggs and flour etc coming down past your house and hear a couple say 'dont do anything to that house, hes an absolute psycho', then to hear nextdoor getting pelted, its only then that i sit back in my chair and feel my day is forefilled

 You are all very welcome round my place as long as you are not wearing a hood, riding a scooter, smashing bottles against my house, letting your dog foul my driveway, knocking on my windows or door then running away, throwing snowballs at me or my van/cars, shouting at the top of your voice to your mate up the road for 15mins whilst standing outside my door, park your car outside my house with the stereo on full whack whilst waiting for someone, a taxi pipping your horn for 10 mins while your customer comes out, ripping the flowers out of the planters on the pavement, throwing your uneaten fast food on my van or car, actually i could keep going on the reasons i have had cause to go have 'words' with people, luckily all i get now is the nutter and pyscho comments (not to my face i might add) which i have grown quite fond of, over the years i have hammered people, booby traped my house and land, chased people with a pickaxe handle/axe/hammer/baseball bat/crowbar or steel bar, run someone over for knicking my car side mirror etc.

I know reading this makes me sound like i dont give a f*** and that i am a bit of a nutter,

All i have to say to that is NO I DONT AND YES I AM.

Dont get me wrong, im not an arseole beating school kids up, i just think youths should show more respect and the parents that think its acceptable to come ranting at you because youve shouted at their little angels should just think what they are doing before kicking off (its allways fun when you get to leather the dad as well as the son).

By kids and yobs i am refering to the tossers that go to the pubs everynight to get smashed then think its funny to make everyones life hell on the way home, not the petty school kids, the halfwit school leavers and university pupils.

i dont fit into any of those categories, i might come round!

i know what you mean about idiots though, theres a school opposite the college thing i go to thats full of people like that on mopeds and stuff, 13 year olds thinking they're clever to smoke and spit and shout abuse at you, not so clever when they upset the girlfriend though... people seem to loose teeth that way...

people finally know not to mess with me though, im 1/2 irish with a lot of my family as ex-hells angels i seem to win fights that get started...

most people shut up now when they see me instead of shouting things at me, i too seem to have a reputation for being a bit of a nutter, but oh well! it keeps the t**ts away!

Sorry for the bump, but i was recently watching Gone in 60 seconds, and I noticed a scene where he unsckrewed the stearing wheel which had the club on it, and sckrewed in one he had brought (at least, that's what it looked like)... those things are really secure

On a related topic... I just acquired a anti-theft device that is desined to interfere with the brake pedal (or gas pedal, your choice) of the vehicle. I got it form a guy I work with. He didn't want it anymore after a friend of his pointed out to him that it was a pretty silly device, since the brake pedal is only held on with one bolt. The reason I acquired it was because it had a dimple lock on it, and they are not particularily easy to come by in my neck of the woods. I've been playing with the dimple lock a bit over the last few days. I managed to pick it once, but I have been using tools that seem totally insufficient for the job. I've gotta make me one of those "matadors" some time very soon. Anyway, I probably wouldn't have mentioned this little story, but somebody (thanks plot :))bumped the only relevant thread so.... ;)

Thats what he did alright...... but Ive never seen a steering wheel that didnt need a puller to be removed. Well maybe those cars outside of supermarkets....... ya know the ones you put quarters in?...... :P
