 I've been trying to pick a Master No. 17. I've opened everything else under this number but I can't open this one. Any information?

You may wonder why ive answered this as i know very little about them but after a 5 min search and read session on this site under master locks, i found some text that suggests the 17 is not much differant than the others you have done and any change in the actual lock (on the lower numbers) will be the addition of an extra pin but thats it.

You may just have a stiff or better machined lock which will take a bit more care opening,

You havent said how you have opened the other locks, if you are doing it by raking then you will find some locks just dont open like that and need to be picked separatley if you are single pin picking try a differant tool, if you are still stuck try a combination of the 2 whilst varying the tension ie, rake and finish off with a single pin pick session.

#17 is the same as #3 except for the encrusted shackle. don't let the armor look shake you up. 8)

Thanks for the advice - I'll keep trying. I always pick the locks - then I try raking.
