falle tool, disc lock

Postby logikstef » 1 Sep 2005 11:42

Hi,

First a little story. 2 weeks ago my father bought a new motorcycle, and like many other he went to his father to show of with it (i went with him). Once there showing the bike and stuff, my grandfather asks and what about your lock? He asked "Do you have a good lock for it?". Sure said my father i have this super strong self made lock (a very thick chain, closed with a rather large padlock). At that moment a took a look at the padlock and i said "What if they lockpick it, then your chain may be super strong but its open :)). He laughed and said yeah like it goes faster to lockpick it. The day after he gave me the lock and i pick it in 10-12 minutes. Hes face went a bit pale when i stood there with his lock opened :). Now he bought a better lock -> dics locks and and two lips in front so you cant look into it (without the proper tool). Now i want to pick that lock (just to tease him:) and i am looking on the net for the proper tool -> falle decoder tool is what i need (saw it in the movie from h2k-lockpicking). But i can't find it anywhere on the net. Can someone give me some info on where to find this tool and wether this is the only tool to do the pick. Thx and sorry for the long storry :p

Tell him to get a Abloy Protec. It is supposidly unpickable because of it's disc blocking system (the discs can't be manipulate individually)
As far as getting the decoding tool, it is highly unlikely. These tools are highly restricted, and even if you do manage to find one, they will likely only sell to locksmiths. You can look on http://www.safeventures.com for a decoding tool, but they are expensive and might not have the right one.

The Falle-safe tool is very special, as is the abloy lock. it is considered high security and very difficult to bypass, even with the proper tools. I'm afraid that until someone comes up with a rapid bypass technique, you're hosed. ALso, since that's a high security lock, we don't tlak about opening it in the public forums.

The Abus Granit tool will not work on the newer Abus disc locks.

Safeventures dealt with Cracksman (hes not a professional) , thats where he got his Falle set. Or is it only decoders/bypass tools are sold to locksmiths?

Logik, you can get the decoder, but it costs about $500.

As long as they have a semicircular keyway, the abus granit pick should (I am assuming that the discs are the same thickness) work for any disc lock. You could maybe try to get (or fabricate) a different shaped end attachment and try it on the Exec-style keyways.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I've never used this tool.

The tool will not do all of these locks, only ones which you tension from the last disc in the lock. I'm sure there are plenty of locks like this, but I dont have information on brands etc. This tool is also marked for the old style Granit locks, so you will just have to disregard the numbers if you get the tool.

The tool will not open the newer locks you need a differant end on the tool and a differant other end, ive made one that opens all the locks and its easy to make if you have a lathe, with the associated skills

I would imagine the granite will work if modified with my ends.
