HOW TO MAKE A PRACTICE LOCK - video tutorial :)

Postby michas » 16 Sep 2005 8:27

Hello :)
My name is Michael and i'm from Poland. This is my first post here. I've recorded a video tutorial how to create training lock with changable pins.
Video is packaged in RAR in two parts.

Here are the links:

http://rapidshare.de/files/5159376/prac ... 2.rar.html
http://rapidshare.de/files/5162067/prac ... 4.rar.html

How to download:
When you click on the link the site will open. Scroll down the scrollbar and click on the "FREE" button. In the new site scroll down also te site and wait as long as is needed. Then click on the link shown there and download movie.
The Movie has 67mb and it is in english.

Tools:
- drill
- drill bit with diameter 2mm
- pliers
- bike rim spoke also 2mm
- a lock (in movie I used TOPEX double cylidner with pin blocking pegs on the bottom of the lock) To complete this tutorial lock has to have pegs blocking the tunnel where are pins (look at the picture and you will know what i'm talking about:
http://ehoster.pl/michal/final-effect.jpg :) )

Manual recipe:
The point is to unlock blocked pins without destroying lock or pin tunnel or pegs. Using driller we've to drill a little hole to the half or more the peg lenght. Then we've to put in the drilled hole our bike spoke and put the peg out using spoke as a screw-driver :) That's all..

I hope you will like it :) or not :P
This is second version of video. First one was in polish language for polish lockpicking forum.

PS. Maybe some one could mirror the movie? Of course if you agree with the content of the movie and you'll like it. If not - delete that piece of crap :P
PS2. Look at the FINAL EFFECT WHAT SHOULD YOU GET:

Cheers 8)

That makes me chuckle on the inside.

I'll be downloading your videos monday when I get back from my cabin.

Get WinRAR, it's much better, and simpler.
