Aqua probably does, he's from Poland where they're made.

I always wanted a Gerda lock, something I'll have to revisit this year.

I've seen the locks around on council places, yet to see a key though. Funny looking keyway for sure.

Visited them today and had a demo on how it works.

If this is a common lock then this is a truly shocking method!

8) would like to test it on more locks though

for anyone who has truly studied gerda locks they must realise they are nothing more than rubbish, get yourself a gerda rim, pick it with your toe nails and then tell me how good there pinning system is they are worse then bird or securit

Maybe it's just the pictures but it appears that in the first photos Aqua posted the bitting dimples are all the same depth. If this is the case then the lock just uses a positional locking system and relies on pin positions for security and not a range of depth on their pins.

As I said, this may not be true but it appears to me that all cuts on the key are the same depth of cut. It does appear to be a lock that could easily be picked with a home made pick or even with a commercial pick used in a certain manner.

Well after looking at the second picture my initial post is wrong. It does use different depths but it does look fairly limited on the range of depths it has but again that is speculation.

Rickthepick,

I noticed that on the second set of pics Aqua posted. As I stated above though it does seem to be limited on the range of depths. I would like to see your pics though so I can see if there is a better range of cut depths on your keys.
