Oh, stop tempting those of us with long overseas delivery times.

Looking forward to playing with mine as soon as it arrives. (Given the usual shipping time from the UK, it should arrive early next week.)

there is a side pin of some description but it kind of sets itself without any particular attention. I think its a key control feature

took a few minutes once id warmed up on some other locks

As far as I know there is no side pin, not on any of the London Line keys I've seen.

Not sure why you guys are referring to this as a London Lock when it is clearly a Mul-T-Lock Interactive? There's more info on the floating element in the paper at:

Thanks,

You are, of course, correct: it's the same technology.

In the UK, though, Ingersoll Security (which is now a Mul-T-Lock brand) are selling a line of cylinders under the "London Line" name. (See this thread for more info.) I'm not sure if there are any design changes that were made for the Ingersoll-branded version, or if it's just simply an Interactive in different packaging.

Explaing "london lock" as what I am seeing in the photo has a multilock look to it, especially the strongman key image.
Is london lock a varient? how is it different?

See three posts up in this thread (or the other thread that I linked to, four posts up).

Thanks for the info. Looks to be the exact same thing but with an Ingersoll branded keycard and key (the patented Interactive bow shape is still there, though). I'd be surprised if they changed anything internally considering they're going to be rolling out the MT5+ in not too long.

Agreed. (And I'm looking forward to the MT5+ starting to roll out more aggressively into the larger markets, so that the prices come down to somewhat saner levels.)
