well, lets cover a couple things.. the post is from 2006, the member who created this post hasn't logged in here since 2013, and over the years Photobucket has changed their hosting options and payment plans from free to pay us a bunch of money in order to back link your photobucket album to a forum. That's why the ugly water mark over the photos as well.
Photos are not directly uploaded to the forum, they are all links to other photo hosting/sharing sites, sometimes sites go down (tinypic.com went out of business this year) some times people delete an album not realizing they linked to it on some forum years ago, sometimes their free account turns into a paid account and they dont feel like paying the hosting site.
In terms of the Internet's age, this forum has been around for a very long time. As technology changes and people come and go, things like this will happen.
