Well ive not tried to much perhaps around 5-10 mins then work took over, im only playing with it my question is more for a supplier of them so i can finish the job but i hink ive convinced him to go down another route now.

I would like to see the key though out of interest.

Imagine a thick double sided wafer key. Then slap a side milling similar to say a primus or ASSA down one side. Thats the best I can do for now.

Page 14 has a picture of a similar key
http://esdcoin.com/brochures/Locks_and_ ... g_2003.pdf

But note, you have the DUO lock not the ESD.

The more i look at that lock the more i doubt that mine is a Duo as it has a few differing aspects but i wont rule it out and it is favorite as im not going to ignore all of you who suggest it is one.

I may have another go at picking it later but this time by moving both pairs of wafer at the same time.

Thanks for the link, it was a good read.

what you posted a pic of is duo, or that lock that shares the same keyway but has more wafers in it . it is longer. the name escapes me

if you decide to take that apart get ready for a nightmare if you drop out the wafers.

but thats besides the point becxause almost all the coin box people offer the same keyways.

the difference is which particular lock do you need for your coinbox, length cam etc

so post a pic of the whole coinbox its measurements and the back of the lock and your question should answer itself

Well the box works on the princible of a threaded rod on the back of the lock instead of a cam so you keep turning the lock to screw the box in so the lock dimensions arent important other than it needs to fit in the standard hole cam locks fit into.

Ive sorted the customer out now anyway and this lock is now just an information task for if i come across them before.

All other boxes ive come up against previous have been tubular locks and this is the first of this kind ive seen, it was on a box where all the others were tubular locks in the same place.

As i say thanks all for your help, i will post pics for you of it disasembled as its coming apart once open anyway regardless if it can be put back together lol
I will then design and make a pick for it
