that's CSI, though. If someone picks the lock, and locks it shut again afterwards, you won't tell, unless your photo is perfect and you are lucky. But the false detection rate would be far higher, as shipping containers get moved a lot, so the lock will be jiggled a bit, sometimes showing a slight movement, which is all you would get if you had unlocked then relocked it.

The replacement thing is the easiest way to get past a seal that isn't clearly marked. Go to cpc.farnell.com and blow £1 on some anti-tamper paper-based seals. Stick one over the doors, and then they cannot be opened without breaking it.
