yoink that clothesline out of that 2-1/8 for the db and loop it
pass it through the hole and under the door knob
It helps if you buy some high grade surgical tubing and slip it over the parachute cord.. or tape it so it's tacky to touch.
Personally, I like the shotgun shell method.
Duct tape a .20 gauge shot gun shell to the keyway. Stand across the yard with a pellet rifle and aim for the cap.

It's important to always cary the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch with you. Some of those rabbits can really be ferocious.

Tie a rope around the door handle and then to the bumper of your car. The rest you can figure out for yourself.
Is that considered a bypass?

Yeah and watch that door knob snap off and get flung right into your rear windshield.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

Please do not post things like this here. It was a serious question and yes it is bordering the advanced line but this isn't totse and the above statement does not need to be here.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

Two things!
1) Why did´nt anybody suggest picking the lock?
2) If the OP does´nt have the key, how did he manage to lock the door, if the the door was simply shut, could´nt he just turn the knob then?
Wrenchman
Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

1) The OP doesn't (yet) know how to pick locks, though finding someone who does would be a good idea.
2) The inside knob has a button that can be pressed in to lock the door. It only pops out when the inside knob is turned or the cylinder is turned by key or pick. The door can be closed while locked, which is what apparently happened in this case.
This is the internet:
You don't have to capitalize, you don't have to use punctuation, and you don't have to spell correctly. And you will not communicate effectively.

I had to look up TOTSE to find out what you were talking about -- but okay, point taken.
