I cant get padlocks

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

well i bought the new one and i tried to figure out the binding order but i cant seem to get it i used a small hook and i can lift them but i just dont know if they are set or not and then when i have all of them up i cant get the first pin to go up and stay it just comes back down

my ml#3 has serrated pins but my friend doesnt. yours may too

ok i finally got it i just sat in my arm chair in the living room and fiddled with it for 4 hours and i can get it on one try now i used UWSDWF's advice and used a smal diamond but what i was doing before was i was oversetting the pins to much because i was pushing them up as high as you would with a deadbolt but i learned you just have to move the pick slightly. Thanks for the help.

I think you may have been misinformed. The Master #3 is a low security POS. They do not even have spool pins, they most definately do not contain serrated pins.

My friend doesn't have serrated pins either...the closest thing he has to serrated pins would be teeth.
