anyone know which masterlock this is?

Borrowed one of these from the shop yesterday and was able to pick it within 2-3 minutes. The cylinder is loose and it makes guessing the tension tricky but it wasn't too hard.

Which pick did you use?

I tension from the bottom like normal, but even with my deep hook (generic Southord deep hook) I can't help oversetting that first pin.

I have this lock and it is very weird. I believe it has no security pins but I've learn to use a bit more tension than other masters. by the way the ability of a lock to be raked depends upon the keying. hope this helps

I have one of these, I can get it as soon as I put my pick in. I just put a huge amount of tension on it, rake once, and it opens. Might just be the way it's keyed, but pin by pin is easy too, don't think there's any security stuff.

That's the black belt master lock, you need to know some kind of martial
art to open this lock!

I agree. The 140 and the 141 are so loose that they require heavy tension before anything sets or even before you get any decent feedback.

And as to the person who mentioned making a comb pick but was unsure of the pin locations, using a blank, you can impression the lock to determine where the pins fall and get measurements from there.

You don't need to go to nearly that much trouble. You mostly just need to smooth the top of the blade and know what the markings look like.
