OK maybe this is my bad for not investigating properly. and for that I am sorry. But to the casual observer (which i am 90% of the time while in checking mode not help mode as I'm sure a lot of us are) A link to a French website in French which at first appears to be nothing more than text is a little confusuing.

I'm sure I'm not the only person on the forum that would greatly appreciate a re write in English. Looks like a cool tools.

Once again "My Bad"

Hep!. For this article, I gathered, for you dear readers and
Lockpicking readers fanatics, all the elements needed to be
Able to unlock the locks Vanlock. They serve several
Applications of life-current asking security, for example; padlock
High Security (ex1, ex2), vending machine, cabinets and other authorities and Locks for lock package keys in prison. Locks, which in fact, are

Now made up for the tour.

Up there, in the left image, we have a copy of a lock
Vanlock locked to his condition and the right image is the key
Specially designed to disengage the lock by the action of
Pressing the key to the lock and a rotation toward 90dgr

Ingredients

1. 2 big paper clip
2. A erases (eraser)
3. A clip Cup
4. A sheet of tracing paper (thin paper)
5. A pencil or charcoal graffite

First step - Taking the borrows

This step is simplistic and will allow you to get the measures
Accurate, on the other hand it asks you to leave on the ground to take
Borrow at one layer, ie take borrows from the surface
Circular of the latch. It is simply a matter of applying the layer on paper
The surface of the lock and gently shake a pencil or charcoal on the
Paper to reveal the circulars emanating from the pins and
Of the latch itself. This should give the following below.

Step Two - The transfer

The transfer of the borrowing is to be seen at the location

Marks of the pins have emerged at the layer on the surface of the
Gum to make the marking (transfer) of the statement that was made earlier.

Last step - Assembling

At this point, we have obtained, through a duplicate of the
Surface with a lock followed by the transfer of collected borrows, the draft

In its finality, an eraser therefore serve as key
Vanlock. Like the tools to pick locks with tubular, this
Tool works almost the same way. Simply push each
Pin, one by one, to play clockwise or not to take advantage of leste
Mechanical components of the lock and then be able to
Unlock the device. According to the observations, after some time,
Gum clears the cracks but still firm .. So I recommend
The use of other equipment; as a block of plastic (PVC or otherwise),
Cork, allowing for a degree of firmness on all pins.
While we know that people who have not read this article and

Oh! A little last-minute addition, there are also opportunities to replicate
The original key from the lock and the principle of bumping is viable for this

That google application (was it babel fish?) does not seem to know how to translate the French word "trombone", which is a paper clip in English. I'm sure the folks at VanLock will be overjoyed to hear about this article

Love the simplicity of the eraser and as a way of proof of concept.
Very interesting lock - I have had a bit of a look at them, maybe this information will be of use.
