Bumping Damage on SFIC

Sorry about the fuzzy focus on the pics. I see what appears to be a circle on the back of each core in the photos. I dont know why. Both cores are original Best in the E keyway. They are take-out/ rekeys from a military base. Each looks to be of considerably different dates due to the wear in the front of the keyway on one. Otherwise they are nothing unusual.

Funny you made this thread. Shortly after you made it, I did the samething. I wrecked a brand new(out of like 10) Best construction core with 3 pin stacks. The butt basically shot out. The bigger of two fragments shot out in the air, one fell into my hand.. see my new thread.
