Crappy thing is, I've tried to do it again - And can't.. Musta got lucky!

Good job picking it open. Spool pins are always tricky when you're just starting out.

What picks are you using? I hope that's not a paper clip I see laying on the blue table cloth in one of your photos! Is it a Bogota rake?

If anything.. most beginners use too much pressure on their tension wrenches/turning tools. if your finger is turning white where your wrench is, use less force. You'll be surprised at just how little force it actually takes. Also, rocking the wrench a little applying more force, then letting up just a little, then more force again seems to work wonders. Give it a try.

ya I know that feeling, Just keep at it and try to get those spool pins down. Learn a little more about the lock each time you pick it and you will have it down in no time. Try to find out the picking order first, then find out which are spools and then just work on your sec. pin technique.

... Maybe I don't have a 150 then :/ hm.
Looks just like yours... and '150' rings a bell... perhaps not :/

Oh, also you probably had a 140 looks the same and is easy to mix up the numbers.

Actually that's not a paper clip! That's the torsion wrench from the Southord keychain set, but laying on a funny angle I guess.. To pick the 150, I have been using snake rake or half diamond..

I have still only had one successful unlock using the half circle..

Haha.. Thanks!

I'll definitely keep practicing.. I love this hobby.. I find it way more intriguing and fun than doing a crossword or whatever.. Is it weird that I keep a lock beside the toilet?
