Since those locks are used outside at storage units, and having snow and ice in your keyhole is always a bad day, they put that hole there for drainage. It's not really a bypass exploit, but you are thinking outside the box, and whatever helps open the lock easier is always a good thing.

Those pics are a big big to fit on the screen, if you dont have a Photoshop type program on your computer, would you mind resizing images next time? Here's a nice free online utility:
http://www.picresize.com/#

click Browse, find your photos on your computer, select it
press Continue
scroll down to the resize by x % feature, and select something like 800x600
then go to the bottom and click I'm Done Resize My Picture
then on the bottom left click the computer diskette icon Save to Disk

now upload to tinypic.com and post here.
