I have also just built a see-through BS lock, so I know where you're coming from. I would (personally) appreciate it if you could drop the SMS language as I have a lot of difficulty reading it, and it must be taking just as long to code it up, as to use english. Others may have a different feeling about this, so I won't say any more; I'm not that old a hand either (on this site). As to the resurrection issue, I think that you are reading through all the old posts, which is a really good thing, and then possibly forgetting to look at the date at the top. Not all of these old posts originally got answered in a useful way; maybe an answer now is still useful for the record, just don't expect the original posters to still be watching. I would guess that a lot of posters will not look again after say 3 days, if they don't get a good answer. Anyway, welcome.
I'll tell you what... I'll write with as gramaticaly correct english as i can muster from now on... it's all MSN messenger's fault for the SMS talk!
i wasn't really posting at anyone in particular, and to be honest ressurecting forums seems to annoy most people unless there is something dramatic to say... and there really wasn't
P.S: your lock sounds gd, i wonder if it is similar 2 mine?
thanx for understanding

That didn't last long then!
Mine is a Yale 5 lever BS lock, but only the original packaging had any part number on. Clear perspex from Staples (A5 display holder). All I could find on a Sunday.

I know! it's hard not to use SMS talk, but it was almost an entire message without using it
it is much faster to type with it when u know how, and after so much time doing it, it takes me longer, to go back and make sure i haven't used it... if that makes sense
oh and i've just realised that this was an entire message without using it (quickly checks message to make sure)
i guess you probably made a lock similar to my own, but sounds good - can u pick it?

Sigh!...
when u know how
i haven't used it
can u pick it?
if u know where 2 put it - the fact th@
Oh well, old habits die hard I suppose.
Can I pick it? Well, in principle yes, but it won't mean anything till I put the cover back on. I made a Curtain Pick with brass rod and piano wire. The big problem is (on this lock type at least) number 7 levers which get in the way of the lever wire, as they just about touch the curtain. I haven't really got my head round this yet.

I had this problem when i first started and didnt get any useful answers even from the pick manufactuer ,
The fact is that you just push the wire under, all levers need to be lifted at least a little before the gates, so the 1.6mm or what ever size wire you are using, wont push them over the gate, you may want to lightly grind the outer edge of the bend so that it slips a little easier

Thanks Shrub, that makes sense. I'll give it another try.
