they still 'set'.

I'm pretty sure that vector knows what a wafer is :shock: :P :P

Uhhhh..... Santos..... :? wafers can still bind. When you turn the plug, some of the wafers bind against the shell. It's the same principle as pins except they're wafers. :wink:

I'm almost tempted to try and remove this stupid thing just to figure out what's going on here. God knows how, though; probably have to remove the drawers and stand it upside down.

Doubt it. Basically there should be a clip of sorts on the other side of the metal that the lock is mounted in. Pop that off, and out comes the waaferr (sing it with me now)

Yeah... but I can't see or work in there without pulling out at least the top drawers, and sticking in some fiber optics and articulable wrenches or something -.-

I'll probably just let it go. One more of those little mysteries.
