Didn't have time to practice today but did see an old man picking his nose at Ace hardware. He was using a rake method.

Found a kwikset 26166 deadbolt at Goodwill. Sold as a combo with a knob and four keys, someone apparently used the knob and keys and donated the rest. For $1.50, I'm not complaining. Managed to rake it once, SPP it once and curse at it for over two hours when it didn't cooperate. I think there are a few security pins in there, it sticks somewhat twisted now and again but perhaps I'm just not up to speed on what I'm supposed to expect from it (which is probably a good thing). Currently in frustrated mode, but I think that's probably how you get better at this sort of thing. The thing was brand spanking new except for the removed parts, so I'm pretty psyched to have a decent lock to learn.

Picked a Yale padlock today XD, I rake it first and later today I SPP'ed it. Pretty proud of myself being a newbie and all.

I've been busy today but I did manage a little time for a shlage fully pinned with four spools, and a six pin dimple lock. Generally it's a bad idea to bring picks and practice at a middle school, =) it's frowned upon =)
