I picked through every lock on my desk in less than two minutes this evening.
Master #532 Schlage C Keyway Two Ilco cylinders, one spooled Generic five-wafer desk lock (not in use) American A400K (Combination lock with override key)
Pretty proud of myself, especially given that I was seriously sucking at this yesterday. It took me twenty minutes to pick the Schlage last night, and another half hour to pick the #532. Glad to see I'm not totally horrible at this. Haha
There is no means by which I can be removed from the love of God. For this, I am indescribably glad.

Howdy folks,
New member here; thought I'd list the locks I've been working with so far. No pictures at the moment, but I haven't really done anything special yet.
Since getting my tools, I've picked the following:
My Locks:
A standard Kwikset KIK cylinder - The hardest part was getting it out of the knob! At first it was tricky because I haven't been picking for a while and the biting has a lot of high/low/high cuts, but now I can open it in seconds. I re-pin it occasionally but I can't get much variety because I only have the pins it came with. It's keyed something like 14421, I think.
4 keyed-alike Master Lock 140F padlocks - These were on sale at Target in the four-pack. Interestingly, there's enough slop in them that they all pick differently despite being keyed alike. I've heard that Master #140s are supposed to have one or more security pins, but these don't seem to. The 140F must be a cheapened version.
A generic laminated 4-pin padlock - I can't reliably pick this lock, mainly because it's too messed up from being in the weather (my former bike lock.) I've opened it a couple times, but it threatens to destroy my tools.
Practice locks at the Hack Factory:
An unknown brand doorknob - Looks like a KW1 keyway, and picks like one too.
A Defiant doorknob - Seems to have one spool driver, which confused me for a while because I wasn't expecting it, but now I can open it reliably.
A Kwikset deadbolt - Meh. Not much of a challenge anymore.
A Schlage deadbolt - I can't open this yet. It either has serrated drivers or is just old and gunky, but it binds up in unexpected ways with no noticable plug rotation.
Hopefully I can get my hands on some more locks to play with. I've been scouting the thrift stores and such as I'm too cheap to go buy a lock for fun right now. (Standard broke college student)

i've picked my entire (and very humble) collection of pads:a 3 pin rock, a 4 pin master, a 4pin burg 554/40, two 5pin burg karat 217/50, a 5pin burg magno 400 e 50, a 3pin castle 250/25, a 5pin castle 500/50, a 3pin millarco, an acient 5 pin Lince, an almost broken abus 65/40 and a 5 pin Assa/ruko 2. And i even found a working key for the last one, ok, i only need to use 4/5 of the key and it needs to be forced a bit, but hey now i got a fully functional padlock it almost feels like i've reached level one in lockpicking... only bad thing, i NEED more pads, just a few to take the pain....

Picked my first Schlage today. Took me a while to figure out a good technique to work around the warding, but then I got it. Did it again to be sure it wasn't dumb luck. These typically have 4 spools, right?

@mcsteve: Typically ZERO spools unless the cylinder in question was pinned specially to include them... ~~ Evan

Interesting. I was under the impression that Schlage locks were supposed to be a little better than Kwikset due to slightly better tolerances, and the presence of spool or serrated drivers. Now I'm going to have to try and disassemble this one and see for sure what I was dealing with.

Great job Wizer! Now get that Medeco Padlock opened! (If you ever do, please let me know. I struggled with that padlock for way too long before deciding to trade it away, lol)

My bad, it was 10 active pins, 6 upwards and 4 downwards. That's why the plug got trapped at 90 degrees! I picked the 4 smaller ones without even knowing they were active... I thought they were passive profile pins. Nice lock. Cheers
