8* Kenstan secure is my guess That's a restricted key you can't get blanks. You can however give Kenstan support the number on the side of the core to get a Kay made. http://www.kenstan.com/contact_us.html

It is one of the KeyMark keyways. Have never seen a blank available for it. May have to cut the bottom warding off another keyway and make a very short key.

Would anyone be so kind as to identify this Best keyway? Many thanks in advance. I bought six of these padlocks on eBay They came with one operating key I was able to pick one of the locks to control with a Peterson #3 Bogie (0.025 GSP) and would like to decode the core and cut some control keys for all six locks.

No, it is restricted and also looks to be in use.

Hi all, New to the forum here. Can anyone help me identify the keyway for this SFIC lock? I got it in a grab-bag online, hoping I can make a key for it. The front of the keyway is a little chewed up so I also took a picture from behind and mirror imaged it for you all to get a clearer look. Thanks! A

Ah, good eye, thanks. I notice the left-sided bottom ward is a symmetric triangle, so it looks like an L (while JKM all have a flat side and a more angled side).

Hello, The previous post showed a lock very similar to one I have (JKLM family) but I noticed that there are a few small differences and now I'm unsure of what specific keyway this actually is. I want to learn how to do key impressions so I was going to get a few blank keys for this to practice but I don't know if I should get J, K, JK, JKLM, or any other variant. If anyone can identify this keyway that would be very helpful to me so I don't end up getting the wrong type of blank keys.

Hazelnut, Glad you are trying to work on that impressioning. But be aware that due to the dual shear lines on an SFIC, they can be very difficult to impression. No that it can't be done, because I have done so myself. But it is not easy. As for your keyway section, it looks like a K to me. Gordon

Thank you for helping identify this, and I forgot to consider that this is indeed SFIC, and so I will probably study up more on the lock mechanism before trying to impression because I'm not sure how I would differentiate the impressionings of the control shear line as opposed to the operating shear line. Thanks again

I lost my core key. But I have a core out. Can someone make me a core key if I send it to them?
