I think it has to do with the angles in the key. I tried picking it, but I do not know how to turn the pins, plus, if there's a sidebar, i'll need to practice. Have you already picked a biaxial ?

If he would of said yes, automatically he would of been a lier.

So what do you think n2oah about the lock, biaxial or not, sidebar or not ?

You are aware of the fact that Chubb and Medeco got some kind of deal going where Chubb uses Medeco cylinders (they're currently using the new M3) and gets to call them 'Chubb M3's' or some such thing, right?

Yes, it's definetly a biaxial, although the Biaxial logo looks like it's flashed out. (look above the 51s)

I can't really see any sidebar in there, but it's also the first time I am dealing with these locks so I don't know..

The pins are silver, compared to the plug that is brass. Here's another picture for you n2oah. BTW, what is the 32S and the 51S ? Model ?

That big groove in the pin shown above is for a sidebar. Also, you should be able to feel the sidebar popping in and out when turning the plug a bit past 0 degrees with the key. There is no biaxial logo however, so it may not be biaxial.

Hmm, there is no biaxial logo. I thought the bottom of the "C" on Chubb was the biaxial logo.

Should I ask CHUBB or Medeco about this ? Maybe they'd know.

Octillion: I wouldn't be asking if it's a biax or not, if I had the key now would I ? :P

Post a picture of the key, most specifically the tip. Both sides if possible. Post pictures of the key bow also.
