Sequiam Biolock

Not sure if this has ever been posted before, I did a search and couldn't find it. :) I was looking around on gizmodo this morning and saw this ad for the new Sequiam Biolock:

http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/sequiam/ ... 208466.php

and thought it looked interesting. They have a link to the manufacturers webpage, and the lock is a joint production by Black and Decker and Weiser lock. I noticed it comes with two backup keys...so all you'd need to do to pop this thing would be to defeat the weiser lock? It seems that if that's the case, all you're buying for your $250 is your own convenience to use your fingerprint identification. Anyone else heard more about this thing?

I'm also fond of the headline "Sequiam Biolock forces burglars to break your window instead". LOL. :)

Never heard of it, but if Black&Decker and Weiser make it, it's probably junk. The key bypass on the front further confirm this.
