My first 3 locks!!!

Well, these are my very first 3 locks to be picked!

One is a MASTER No.40, a MASTER No.130, and (then one in blue) I cannot tell what No. it is.....?

The one with the blue cover, was the first one to be picked (and the easiest;)
it came off an old shed we used to have, and I picked it within 2 hours.

The No.40, when I first got it, I opened on my FIRST try, and then it took me 2 days to open it again... :( But now, I got it down pretty good, and can open it 8 out of 10 times. :)

Now the small one (No.130,) belive it or not; is one tough SOAB! I've ONLY been able to open it ONCE, and ive had it since Friday! :x I know it looks easy- and probably is to most, but for some reason that one has given me the most trouble.

I received my 14pc Southord kit on Thursday, and have been practicing ever since.

I included the picks I used to open each lock, so that maybe if sombody else is having trouble with that lock; it might help them.

I'm still a NEWB, and have only been doing this for 3 days, but im having tons of fun, and hope to maybe meet some other pick-smiths in my area soon. See ya, J2G.

Thanks!

The rubber handles are MUCH easier on the fingers!...I think electrical tape, might offer more feedback from the pins though.

That no. 130 is such a BI***! Maybe ill open the inside, and examine the inners of that lil sumabitch...HA!

Im thinking of buying an instructional video from " lockpickshop. " They offer a few diff ones, and i think it would be benificial, instead of me just goin ape shit on the pins; i might actually know what im feeling for.

Watch the language please. We try to maintain a family oriented site here.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!
