guard locks

Postby Rodfather23 » 8 May 2007 19:15

I know I just posted in these forums earlier today, but I just have to tell this. I just bought a guard brass lock. cost about $2.....anyways.. as soon as I got home I cut open the package and grabbed my new pick set I just got in the mail today. I stuck the tension wrench in...applied light tension...and bingo the key hole turned and the lock unlocked............last time I buy a guard security lock. This wasn't a one time thing....it does it everytime...and I tried moving the wrench back and forth to get the pins to lock....but it was no use ....I know it was $2 but I plan to take it back just so I don't have to keep my waste of $2.

Thats funny, I've seen a lot of "Guard" locks and a lot of them have mushroom pins.
