Combination Lock

Postby Sahnelmoser » 5 Mar 2004 13:15

Hi,
I just want to introduce myself. I come from Germany and I'm interested in lockpicking for just a while. Sometimes successful, sometimes not. :)
In Summer, while I was walking in the woods, I found a heavy door with a combination lock on it. As you can see, the door is quite rusty and it seems that nobody knows that this door is still there. Is it possible to identify such a lock (which brand)? I really don't want to crack it.
Greetings
Sahnelmoser

P.S.: I also have a picture, but I don't know how or were to upload it.

Calm down, Nose2. He didn't say it wasn't a safe. He didn't even IMPLY it wasn't a safe. There's nothing that suggests he was trying to "fool" anyone.

He said it was a rusty door with a combination lock on it, and looking at the picture, it looks like a rusty door with a combination lock on it -- on the door, not snapped onto the door.

It's good to be cautious, but not to the point where you jump on folks who haven't done anything wrong yet.

Sahn, I'm not sure what brand that lock is. Any markings anywhere on the door?
