Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

New Standard 2000

Postby dougfarre » 2 Dec 2007 22:55

Alright, I can't seem to find much information about this lock. I recalled somone mentioning New Standard a while back, but couldn't hone down on it in the forums. Anyways, I don't have the key, just the lock. I have not had any luck picking it open. Anyone had any experience with these? Its very high quality.

Its a New Standard 2000. the only thing i know about it is that there is a New Standard 1750 model which is a little bit smaller.

take a look at this link, the 2000 model takes many different cores so you'll have to check out your keyway to see what core it is. .

Its none of the keyways in the pictures. But it doesnt have to be those exact keyways... Seems like it could be any kik cylinder with the correct size and cam attachment.
