GUARD padlock

Postby totenkov » 4 Mar 2008 23:52

Ok, I am returning under a new username, as I haven't been around in a long time and can't remember my old username or password!

I have been picking for a long time, but have this one padlock that wont open. A GUARD model lock, something from China without a doubt. This thing simply wont surrender to my picks!

A snap gun (pick gun) open it in a second, yet the barrel of it moves slightly when pressure is applied with a wrench. This would usually indicate security pins, yet I can never detect them! The problem is when the pressure is applied to the barrel by the wrench, it becomes to hard to manipulate pins, but when only moderate pressure is applied, the pins wont set! ARG!

Does anyone have a method of handling this, or should just take the acetylene torch to it out of spite?

Thanks guys!
