You folks all seem to well versed in locking mechanisms. I just bought a new home and am trying to replace the locks. The two that are troublesome are Medeco deadbolts. I have been able to remove the deadbolt piece itself but the key cylinders will not separate from the door.
I'm certain there's a simple "trick" to getting them apart but haven't figured it out yet. Does anyone have any guidance, instruction, or even better would be a picture of how to get them out?
