Master key problems

Postby dubairooof » 25 Mar 2008 2:58

I Have 3 Locks with 1 master key and each lock has different key
the first lock key cut code has 12012 , the sec key code has 12022
and the third keycode is 12042
the secound key can open the first lock because the code of key2 has one code different and the step size between Code 1 to code 2 is 0.50
then i changed the secound key code from 12022 to code 12040 I tryed by this key code to open the other locks but its wont open except lock 2
and there is no ability for any key to open other lock because the different far key cuts than others.

i'm not sure what kind of lock you're talking about, but bittings look too close to eachother.

Never use a #1 master pin, they cause to many problems. Also there are basic rules to masterkeying you do not seem to know. Do some reading.
