Found a bunch of stuff

I live in a very old house, and its been a campground for like 200 years
anyways i found like 5-6 key lock boxes that look like their 20-30 years old and their made by a company called supra. The lock is a supra-s series 4 and its like a gold color. Since their small I have been mounting them to my closet door at doorknob height. my question is has anyone seen these before and how much are they worth?

don't know

I don't know the price, they usually come up on this forum when someone cannot get into one.
some old ones are dial combination, resetable.
later ones are ten button combinations, resetable.
some have a shabby aluminum shackle like a padlock, others screw onto walls.

Do you have yours open, do you know the combinations?

So that thing has a keyway, the only keylockbox I have seen with a keyway had the little known NIX PIX lock. I started to make a tool but now its somewhere in a box in storage, unfinished. I based it on a simple pinion gear I found in a mortise shot bolt, (little one side of the door bolt that goes in by driving the bolt rack with a pinion attached to a thumb turn. Just like a typical barndoor bolt but mortised for interior use.

forgot

forgot to mention that the pinion gear had six slots that correspond to the nix pix lock spacings. would work like a tubular pick when I finish it if ever.

there is little on this forum about the Nix Pix but I believe that anyone who had the little pamphlet on tubular locks may have a suppliment at the back of it that covers the patent drawings for the Nix Pix.

someone have that book can tell us if they still publish that part at the back of the pamphlet?
