the lock looks real old in that it dosent look like the typical folger adams type.
You would be correct it is a YALE lock. i tied to get a close up of the back where it is stamped with the YALE logo.

he has an abus swing shackle lever padlock and some bronze railway locks, one of which has an interesting type of keyhole cove I had never seen before,
The ABUS lock i found in a box of junk when i was younger and i know nothing of its history, The other lock you refer to as a RR lock is actually an IRS lock, if the IRS claimed some property they would install this lock on the door and place a piece of paper under the key hole cover, once you close the key hole cover and lock the lock the only way to open it was to pierce the paper with the key and unlock it, it gave the IRS a way to tell if anyonee had tampered with the lock. My in-laws gave it to me as a christmas present this year.

and a master shrouded padlock with dimple key, that I neve knew existed.
the master lock i found at a Home Depot store about 4 years ago on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, i dont see any model numbers stamped on it like they normally have and i checked Master Locks website for info but could not find anything, i got it because i had never seen one like it and had to have it for my collection.

If you go back to my photo album there is another item you may find interesting, it is a set of Prisoner Transport Manacles, i got them at a flea market about 5 or 6 years ago. you can see a lot of hand working went into them, the pictures dont do them justice.
