Corbin Sesamee Padlock

Postby larry00663 » 26 May 2008 20:09

I have a Corbin Sesamee Padlock that I have had for several years. I needed to lock something up so I picked it up. It was open and I knew the combination. I opened and closed it with the combination set correct, but it felt a little rough, so I sprayed WD40 in it. With the combination set to the correct number, I pushed it closed and it locked and will not open on the correct combination. :( Fortunately I do not have it locked on anything. :D I have started to turn the dials starting at 0000, and am trying to get it to open I am up to 1700 and have not gotten anywhere so far. I sure don't want to go to 9999 before I get it to open.
Can someone help me with this?

first of all, I assume it is a lock with a resettable combination? If that is the case, and you somehow managed to change the combo, then it is indeed possible to decode it. do a search on sesamee decoders - I believe there is a good tutorial somewhere on this site. good luck!
