I don't get it. Are you asking if their little blurb is anything other than advertising puffery? Hint: no...

It's a Master lock. The vast majority of locks from them, *especially* in that price range, are going to be trivial to open for even a relatively novice picker.

Master always puts some bs like this on their padlocks. my favorite is "4-pin precision cylinder for max. pick resistance"

Even though they're the loosest cylinders I've seen by far...

Electrified for extra pick resistance would work SO much better!

Last time I checked Home Depot ONLY carries Master Lock brand padlocks.

It probably depends on area but they usually have Brinks padlocks, which range from equally bad to surprisingly resilient. Some also carry the Kwikset KW1 keyway padlocks made by a variety of companies (Brinks included, actually).
