Some New Locks...

Postby gr00ve » 11 Oct 2008 14:45

alright so after i popped open my ML140 last night soon after i bought it i was a little discouraged. so i went to Wal-Mart today and bought a brinks shrouded puck style lock, and a brinks M1 lock i believe, brass 5-pin. all i have to say is =( the shrouded is giving me a lot of trouble. i think its supposed to have security pins? it says high security commercial quality on it so im assuming it does. its so hard to turn though, how am i supposed to apply minimal tension without turning the plug. alot of the time im not even setting pins meh!

il get it eventually heh =)

can anyone give me some info on these locks?

the brinks hockey puck is R70 lock and requires a LOT of tension.
