How to pick handcuffs

Postby joey11214 » 27 Oct 2008 2:45

Ok so here it goes, this is my first post and when it comes to tumbler locks and so on I am a noob. One thing I am good at is picking handcuffs (maybe because its really easy lol).
Tools
A bobby pin you can also use a paper clip but I find that bobby pins are easyest because of the bend they have in them at the middle is perfect.
Ok what your gonna do is take your bobby pin and bend it in half where it is already bent untill it breaks into two pieces (you only need 1) take your piece and if you look at it it will have a curve in it where the bend was. What you are going to do now is place the bobby pin horizontal to the cuffs as if the cuffs were laying flat on the table with the key hole facing you place the pin with the bent curve into the bottom notch of the key hole with the pin laying flat across the lock not vertical tho going sideways with the pin faceing twords the end that is a fixed hing now lift the pin up wit the bent edge still in the bottom notch of the key hole lift the pin stright up and start to bring it in the opisite direction till you feel the bent edge against the inner metel of the cuff now turn the bobby pin counter clock wise and your free.... I'm sry to people who read this and say wtf is he talking about and he can't spell. I was never to good with spelling and I've tried my hardest to explain if u pm me I can give you links to videos that show it being done.. T.y
