Right... well you can find them in other locks and juggle them. I do that, or beg off local hardware stores when I buy discounted rekeying kits. They are usually fine with giving a keys worth of drivers from a kit to a ligitimate DIY customer who asks the right way, but locksmith's like to play dumb in my experience...

Not the answer you were looking for, but maybe something to consider.

I guess searching isn't high on your priority list.. as we were just talking about this yesterday!

btw.. whats a "barrels" ? they only make them in spool, serrated, spoorrated, and mushroom.

Sometimes they make them in trapezoid and cone, but you have to be a locksmith to get those. No, just kidding, no they don't.

No problem. I assume you know you can't drop those american padlock pins in your practice deadbolt. In general you shouldn't mix padlock pins into deadbolt sized cylinders unless you know them to be the same diameter. You can usually tell at a glance, but it doesn't hurt to google before you start mixing pieces.

Check out that link squelchtone posted, then his link in the other thread about this same topic. Those LAB spools are cooler than the one's in the schlage, weiser, or any other random kit I've seen. I'd imagine a bit harder, and cheap too. Very cool. I don't know how I missed it in that other thread. Thanks Squelchtone! :)

The only barrel pins I've heard about are in the new master anti bump line. Other than that I don't know if any other company uses them. They're not exactly the toughest to pick.

here are what the Lab pins from that site look like in person, versus the generic pic on their site.
